 Dr. CHRIS HARWOOD  - LOUGHBOROUGH UNIVERSTY


 Chris is a BASES High Performance Sport Accredited Psychologist and BPS Chartered Psychologist who has consulted with a variety of National Governing Bodies, Professional organisations, athletes and coaches over the past 15 years.

In 2011, Chris was awarded a BASES Fellowship in recognition of his contribution to applied sport psychology in the UK and long term services to BASES in promoting the development of psychology as a sub discipline of sport science and prior supervised experience programmes.

His applied experiences reflect his interest in coach education and parent education, alongside the psychological development and education of junior and senior athletes.

He acts as a consultant for the Lawn Tennis Association, Tennis Midlands, Nottinghamshire Cricket, and Nottingham Forest FC Academies, having served as Club Psychologist for Nottingham Forest FC between 2002-2004.

He is currently the Vice-President of the European Federation of Sport Psychology and serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology. He is also an editorial board member for The Sport Psychologist.

His personal research and teaching interests lie in the area of achievement motivation and motivational climate, the development of psychosocial skills and competencies, with a focus on youth sport and the role of parents and coaches. He has published extensively on these topics, particularly within tennis and football. 

Dr.  Claudio ROBAZZA – UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI G. d”ANUNZIO


 Claudio Robazza Short CV Claudio Robazza is an Associate Professor of Methods and didactics of motor activities at the Faculty of Movement Sciences, University of Chieti, Italy. He earned a master degree in Physical Education, a master degree in Psychology, and a PhD in Sciences and Techniques of Physical Activities and Sports from the University Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France. As a sport psychologist, he has been working with top level athletes of different sports, including golf, archery, modern pentathlon, rugby, and he is currently involved with the Italian shooting team. He has conducted field-based studies in physical education, motor learning, and sport performance domains, and his primary research interest is in the area of performance-related emotions, performance optimization, and motor learning. He has published numerous refereed journal articles, and is the author of several book chapters and books. He is also an associate editor of Psychology of Sport and Exercise, consulting editor of Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, advisory board member of Sport Sciences for Health, and co-director of Giornale Italiano di Psicologia dello Sport (Italian Journal of Sport Psychology). In the 2015, he received the Ema Geron Award from the FEPSAC (European Federation of Sport Psychology) in recognition of his exceptional national contribution to the development of sport and exercise psychology. 

 Dr. Hülya AŞÇI


 F. Hülya Aşçı was born in Ankara, in 1969. She graduated from Physical Education and Sport Department of Middle East Technical University in 1991.  She received her Master of Science Degree in Sport Psychology and Ph.D. Degree in Guidance and Counseling in 1993 and 1998, respectively. She mainly studies physical self-perception and psychological effects of physical activity on psychological well being. She has 77 papers published in refereed international and national journals She presented over 100 papers in both international and national congresses. She is an Associate Editor of Psychology of Sport and Exercise Journal and she takes responsibility as a reviewer of some international refereed journals in the sport psychology area. Her international publications were cited over  400 times by different researchers. She received “Developing Scholar Award” which has been given by International Society of Sport Psychology to the scholar who makes great contribution to sport and exercise psychology. Currently, she is working at the Sport Sciences Faculty in Marmara University, Turkey. 

Dr. Cengiz KARAGÖZOĞLU


 He started his carreer after graduating Marmara University Counseling and Guidance department in 1992, after completed in the Health Sciences Institute, Physical Education and Sports master of science program (1994) and Doctoral Degree in 1997. Mostly he worked in the practice area in the field with Tennis, Handball, Shooting Sport and Table Tennis National Teams and individual athletes on Sailing, Swimming, Shooting and several disciplines. Dr. Karagozoglu has published several books and research studies on the Exercise and Sport Psychology field.
